Youth Information Centre is a detached part of The Children and Youth Institute. It provides young people and public with information on wide range of topics (work, education, leisure-time activity, sports, foundations and grants, international organisations and projects, social-pathogenic phenomena, drugs problems, youth and the European Union, etc.). The workers of the Youth Information Centre collect, sort out, process and provide information in a user friendly form and content for its clients. Young people receive information from the Centre in printed form (files, ring binders) and in addition via an information officer (on duty at the Centre) or through the web and e-mail. The Youth Information Centre also organises meetings and seminars on the above mentioned subjects and educational visits for pupils of primary school age to teach them how to work with information. Centre also print information to deliver to the regional Youth Information Centres and to the other organisations focused on children and youth.
