The vision of the Youth in Development Network (Malawi) is to see informed and skilled youth actively participating in development issues that concern them. It aims at a situation where the youth and policymakers interact on policy developments and the youth have a say and influence on development issues in their country. Our vision is to see youths who are skilled and informed to actively participate in issues that concern them as well as policymakers who recognize the youth as a powerful influence on development an HIV/AIDS issues.

our organization provides training to secondary school youths so that they can acquire skills to participate in developmental projects. We also organizes forums for the youth and policymakers to discuss development and HIV/AIDS issues. The Youth in Development Network (Malawi) also acts as a database where both the youth and policymakers can consult with each other. The organization also expose youths with special skills and talents so that they can be used by policymakers in development projects. Our organization also equip already existing youth structures to effectively help the youth participate in the development.

The Youth in Development Network is a youth founded and led organization. It entirely concentrate on the youth and issues concerning the youth. It currently reaches out to a minimum of 1000 youths. Our goal is to reach out to all the youths in the country and make them skilled and exposed enough to participate in development. All the staff and partners of the organization are either the youths themselves or individuals involved in youth oriented projects. Through our trainings and open forums the an number of youths are discovering their talents and using their skills in development projects.
