YOCADS as a youth organization, currently focus on series of youth led developmental activities;Prominent among these are: Peace building, Conflict resolution, Conflict Prevention/Management amongst Liberian youths who were used as agents of war; youth government decision making and leadership who was to a larger extend left out of the mainstream of decision making; HIV/AIDS and exual explotation of Liberian youths, Humanm Rights Protection, Youth empowerment and Advocay and Awareness campaign on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
