It uses strategies like discussion, solidarity in various mass sensitizing rallies and activities. It has been disseminating information, received from different research using different tools, to mass people through different electronic and print media. It also conducts trainings, study sessions and workshops on human rights, peace and democracy in a participatory way.

YOCAP also provides a common forum for the youths to help them realize their potential and talents. It also creates, determines and identifies the different opportunities for youth and then links them up with the available resources.
