YOUTH BEEP!® (Business Education Enhancement Program) is a business education project seminar series planned and organized by the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration of South Philippine Adventist College through the initiative of Mr. Robin Charles O. Ramos, the Vice – President for Social Affairs of BSBA. The project name is obviously a youth empowerment program designed to shape and enhance the abilities and skills of the youth in entrepreneurship and other business – related activities. “BEEP!” an alarm or to awake and empower the youth.
The project comes into phases with the theme: “Entrepreneurship as key Towards Economic Development”.
YOUTH BEAT!® (Business Entrepreneurship Action Team) Techniques Phase I is a seminar-workshop that aims to know and learn about the meaning of Entrepreneurship and its role in nation-building and economic development; government’s initiatives towards the promotion of entrepreneurship and to learn more techniques from the successful stories of the entrepreneurs. This will lead the participants to make the project into a legal youth organization and to initiate a Community Development and Extension Program.
YOUTH BEAT!® (Business Entrepreneurship Action Team) Techniques Phase II is more on about the monitoring and evaluating the Community Development and Extension Program. Phase II will discuss about Microfinance and Micro business. This will introduce on how to start a business in a small cope of business field. This will aid the entrepreneurs to learn the components of the business plan how to write it as their guide/framework about their business.
YOUTH BEAT!® (Business Entrepreneurship Action Team) Techniques Phase III is still on monitoring and evaluation of the Community Development and Extension Program. Phase III will discuss the improvement of the business plan they had made on the Phase II. This will cover the enhancement and improvement of the business plan in different areas on: management, marketing, finance, production, accounting and other related capability building seminars.
The project doesn’t limit until Phase III, because Phase III is the improvement of the different areas of the business plan and it might create or establish next phases so long that it is suitable to the mission and vision of the project.
