We train young people to work at the regional and international levels to impact policy and culture. Through this lived experience of the dignity of the person, young people are able to affirm life at all levels of society.

The world youth alliance trains young people to impact policy and culture. The world youth alliance creates and promotes person-centered cultural events and projects. These projects bring young people, advisors, friends, policy makers and donors of the alliance together in a practical application of the ideas of the alliance. Projects take place on global, regional and local levels, and offer a lived experience of the idea of the dignity of the person. Current projects include participation in a slum renewal project in manila (gawad kalinga), sponsoring a film festival on the idea of the person and habitat at the united nations, and examining the relationship between architecture and the person in restoring an orphanage in romania.

Provides: internship to develop skills highly valued in the professional world such as project management, presentation, communication and time management skills. The international solidarity forum (isf), hosted at the united nations in new york, brings together wya members from each of the regions, international advisors to the alliance and members of the un diplomatic community. Each isf examines particular themes of global importance through discussions, workshops and cultural activities.
