WiLDAF works to promote women’s human and legal rights and the active participation of women in development at all levels. Our ideas and vision for existence are anchored on the values of gender equity and equality, social justice and fair representation. We believe that a just and fair society requires that all members of society – women and men, rich and poor, able and disabled, advantaged and disadvantaged, are able to develop their full human potential and contribute to, participate in and benefit from the political, social and economic life of their country.
WILDAF Kenya’s dream is, for a world in which women shall:
1. Be Free from sexual violence.
2. Be able to make decisions about their lives.
3. Be free and empowered to engage and participate in visible legal and policy processes that promote gender equality.
4. Have a conducive environment to enjoy all their basic human rights.
5. Face no marginalization or discrimination

As a women’s change agent, we value feminist principles in promoting transformative change for the well-being of women. We cherish the equal valuing of women and men, truth, freedom and social justice. We value participatory decision making and open communication. We also value relationships, families and friendships as sources of love and support and as the basis of a society in which people care for others.
On the basis of these values, WE:-
Commit ourselves to transform women’s’ lives by moving from rhetoric to action as exemplified in our work of preparing and undertaking advocacy work around the Sexual Offences Act.
Recognise that we are service oriented agency for women’s policy and legal (and not just an agency where we secure employment).
Promote strategic collaboration for adding value.
Innovate knowledge generation that is original and creative testing new grounds.
The organization is run by young women and men with the eldest employee being 32 years of age.
