The To'abaita Authority for Research and Development is a Student Volunteer Organization that was formed in August 2005 by young Solomon Islands' scholars who are studying at the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji. TARD membership consists of youths from the North Malaita and Lau/Baelelea Constituencies, Malaita Province, Solomon Islands.

Our goal is to pursue potential development aspirations of our youths and rural communities so that they can become well-informed of important issues that can either benefit or destroy our livelihood. We also work towards carrying out community awareness programs on issues such as health, environment and sanitation, leadership, education, sports and so on.
