Our vision is to help every individual to attain self reliance. As we see in most African communities, dependency is growing higher each year and there will come a time when young people do not have any specific skill. Young people will find life difficult, and this may lead to youth involvement in unwanted behavior, such as smoking, drinking, and etc. So, in order to avoid this situation, we decided to set up this association to address certain issues and encourage the young wants.

The Youth welfare Association is an organization which is involved in youth activities. These activities include informing them the importance of development, education, environmental issues, agricultural and skills trainings. We organize events to help the needy students and those who are sick so as to help pay their bills either at schools or hospitals. We sensitize them with the importance of skill jobs if they are not in school or a drop out. In other words, we give them courage that there is still life despite not being able to get jobs or out of school.

As the name implies this association is involved mainly on youth activities.This association is a leading youth work charity with a membership of over 1000 members country wide.It is:

3. A forum for dialogue for young people
4. A channel of information and opions between young people and decision makers
5. A representative body of young peoples interests

The objectives of this association among other things include|:
1. To raise the aspirations of youths to realise their potential and have their achievements recognised.
2. Promote a cross - sectoral youth policy
3. Influence youth policy at regional and international level
4. Increase the participation of young people and youth organisations
5. In society as well as the decision- making process
6. Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences, mutual understanding equal rights and opportunities amongst young people.
