LSAS participates actively in the foundation of democratic educational system meeting students’ interests and assuring their rights, representing its members in state institutions, public organizations and movements, supporting and protecting students and student representatives interest related to their social and economic situation, welfare and status in the society.
LSAS participates in the development of university education in order to achieve quality and accessibility of university education.
LSAS coordinates interrelations of students’ representations and relations with authorities as well as local self-government institutions, conference of Lithuanian universities’ rectors, conference of Lithuanian colleges’ principles.
LSAS develops international relations and international collaboration with foreign students and other organizations meeting students and youth’s needs in their activities.
