the organization aims to participate in society development in Egypt in specific and the Euro Med area in general. (ICFYD) focuses on the issues of youth and development.
Youth
As for youth, (ICFYD) aims to fulfill the following goals;
* Disseminating the volunteerism and public service.
* Facilitating the integration of young people into society and encouraging their spirit of initiative.
* Helping young people acquire knowledge, skills and competencies, and recognizing the value of such experience.
*facilitating access to university education and research for gifted young people by providing scholarships.
* Allowing young people to give free expression to their sense of solidarity in the Arab world, Euro Mediterranean region and the wider world.
* contributing to international understanding and cooperation between youth,
*spreading the culture of civil society between youth.
*offering civic education to assist youth responding to the changes in politics and society and thus to enable them to take part in a critical and proactive manner.
Development
As for development (ICFYD), aims to make cooperation in the issues of development between the Arab and European countries beside the other countries involved in the issues of development. This cooperation aims to fulfilling the following goals;
* Promoting peace and understanding between peoples.
* supporting the democratization of the State and society and strengthening the civil society,
* Improving general political, economic, social and cultural conditions
*facilitating regional and worldwide cooperation between the NGO's concerned with development issues.
* Spreading awareness about the wide range of subjects and questions includes all fundamental issues concerning democracy, international relations and day-to-day politics.
*Furthering political and social education of individuals from all walks of life in the spirit of democracy and pluralism,
* Gaining recognition for human rights and taking it as general culture acknowledged by all.
