The Institution of Engineering and Technology was formed in spring 2006 by the merger of the IEE and IIE. It aims to serve a global community engaged in engineering and technology, providing a knowledge network accessible whenever or wherever you choose.

We organise events and activities that help our members to shape their careers in the best way possible to attain their maximum potential. As part of the global network of younger members of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, we help our members to tap into the many opportunities of the IET.

We host the Young Expert Forum whose objectives are to continue to build the capacities of members in all the fields relevant to the IET and also focus on a technical matter of national and/or international interest, discuss it and make recommendations generated from such discussions to the appropriate quarters.
