The individuals who make up Global Medical Relief Program believe in its ability to help provide health care to people around the world. GMRP is committed to the idea that quality healthcare is a fundamental human right that should be available to everyone, and our initiatives strive to make this a reality. GMRP especially seeks to touch the lives of the most vulnerable people in any population and believes in the importance of assisting both internally and externally displaced refugees.

Additionally, we believe that medical personnel around the world work tirelessly for the benefit of their patients. Unfortunately, in the developing world, many of these dedicated and hardworking professionals are frustrated in their efforts by a lack of adequate supplies and equipment. Because of this lack of supplies and equipment, we believe that the patients these doctors treat are at a serious disadvantage and can greatly benefit from the donation of supplies to be used in their care. GMRP makes these donations according to specific needs and always seeks to work through local doctors and health care institutions.

GMRP also believes in the power of a stable and dependable health infrastructure. A strong health infrastructure fosters confidence in local health institutions and empowers doctors and medical professionals.

Through these principles, GMRP believes that all those who assist in this undertaking will be making not only an important contribution to the quality of life of patients around the world, but also will be literally participating in a lifesaving initiative.

It is the mission of The Global Medical Relief Program:

• To promote quality health care in under-served communities around the world by working with local doctors and health care professionals and by providing medical supplies and equipment.

• To provide dental, hygiene, and basic health care supplies in areas of natural disaster.

• To promote human rights in developing regions by improving health infrastructure.

• To participate in a global community of organizations which are similarly dedicated to providing health care in developing regions.

• To organize student groups at all educational levels in these humanitarian efforts
