We envision a world of purposeful people who strive in faith, hope and love to realize their potential and to serve the worlds needs for life sustainability, health and peace.
We aim to cultivate Possibility Oriented Living and To foster the principals of entrepreneur intelligence and servant leadership.
The term "Cultivating Possibility Oriented Living" refers to the learning process that we take Fellows through where we encourage them to view challenges as opportunities and not as obstacles. Cultivating is derived from the fact that we target the most powerful aspect of a human being which is the mind....we take the initiative to empower the Fellows with a positive mindset and target their attitudes and belief to ensure they are able to harness them and effectively apply them in making recognizable change within themselves and their communities.
Our destiny is: ”To serve Africa’s needs for life sustainability”, therefore, as long as the African continent still reflects this need we will advance and progress; and will not rest till this destiny is fulfilled.

Our Fellows are drawn into an intriguing journey of self-discovery and exploring new boundaries that challenge conventional modes of thinking. The program consists of five components:
1. Envisioning Possibility Oriented Future
“Man should have a purpose, and that purpose he should always keep in view, with the hope of achieving it in the fullest satisfaction to himself. Be not aimless, drifting and floating with the tide that does not go your way. To find your purpose, you must search yourself and with the knowledge of what is good and what is bad, select your course, steering towards the particular object of your dream or desire.” (Marcus Garvey, Message to the People 1986:154).
The first objective of The BOOST Fellowship is to create a learning environment in which students can (i) participate in a process of self-exploration and of envisioning a possibility-oriented future that will assist them in discovering their purpose in life and (ii) to use that understanding to find fulfillment in various facets of their lives.
2. Embracing Possibility Through Coaching
“Coaching is the art of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another.” (Myles Downey, Effective Coaching 1999:15).
We work to equip our fellows with problem solving skills, by teaching them to become coaches and to coach each other through challenges. Fellows become persuaded of their own potential to create successful futures for themselves and to overcome any negativity that might hinder their pursuit of purpose and joy of life.
3. Building Good Relationships Through Mentoring
“Because developmental mentoring is essentially the sharing of wisdom, one of its distinguishing characteristics as a 'helping to learn' process is that it is a two-way street. This mutuality of benefit stems from the requirement in mentoring to delve deeply into professional and personal issues: in helping someone else to greater understanding, the mentor also undergoes a voyage of discovery.” (David Clutterbuck, Learning Alliances 1998:91).
Our fellows are then matched with mentors who are established career professionals. Through mentoring, our fellows learn to make good decisions based on the knowledge and experience of mentors who have already achieved success. They also learn to cultivate good learning networks for themselves based upon strong and healthy relationships with people from within their community of family, friends, peers and role models.
4. Living For Others
Our fourth objective is to strive to inspire our Fellows to find ways to grow in faith, in hope and in love, so that they might become complete as human beings, secure in themselves and able to live for others. Fellows leverage their personal educational experiences, the expertise of their faculty advisors, the support of their local business advisory boards, and the resources of their institutions to implement programs that create real economic opportunities for members of their communities. The effectiveness of their programs is judged at SIFE competitions held annually at national and international level.
5. Toolbox of Career Skills
We strive to help our Fellows develop career skills that enable them to master and excel in any working environment.
i. Financial Intelligence
Learning how to obtain financial freedom, whilst gaining an understanding of money as a facilitator of life as opposed to an obsession to pursue, is an important goal of Entrepreneur Intelligence. We offer our Fellows access to educational modules and games and access to investment experts to help them to develop financial intelligence.
ii. Business Basics
Whatever direction their calling takes them, whether it is into the heart of the business and professional world, or into areas such as teaching, entertainment or sports, or indeed others still, we want our fellows to understand the basics of business so that they can grow into effective business people during their lives after school.
iii. Career Preparation & Development
At BOOST, we want our Fellows to rely upon what they learn about themselves in life, rather than basing career decisions on fear of unemployment or change, the attraction of money, or other people's desires.
