The participants of TACO plan events that are relevant to the youth in greater Cleveland, Ohio. TACO plans to debut with an Outrageous annual event called Ballin 4 Life, college tours, getting into college and paying for college workshops, drug awareness, AIDS/HIV prevention and awareness events back to school stay in school parties, tutoring, life skills (public speaking, going to an interview, writing checks, saving & spending money, table etiquette, manners, thinking critical), computer training, foreign language training, SAT/ACT prep, career assessments seminars and workshop will be offered, and an internship institute. These components will give teens the opportunity to decide before they graduate from high school what profession they’re interested in; to study at college. All events are being planned by youth, which will give the youth experience in event planning and expose them to receiving letters of recommendation from everyone that TACO partners with.
