SAYD Is voluntary, non-political, on-profit making, non- Governmental Organization (NGOs) that to enhancing youth's status to wards equality, empowerment, and development and full realization of their human capacity.
The Association use different approaches of cooperation, integration and solidarity at the local, national and international level to realize its purposes .Hence, it has established membership and networking with other NGOs.
The Association was formed in 2001. SAYD was established under the name United Nations Friends Association.
The association is concerned with the youth economic, social and cultural development .As well to summit the concept of gender equity and, social equity and the human security. SAYD separated social development aims in youth’s community in universities and grassroots.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To empower and improve the different skills of youth to help them gain better life.
2. To be concerned with the gender and women issues.
3. To combat the HIV/AIDS and STDs.
4. To integrate the youth in conserving the environment.
5. To encourage the youth in reducing the literacy rate.
6. To improve and encourage the system of under graduate and graduate education.
7. To adopt the exchange cultural programme.
8. To fight unemployment and its social impact among youth.
9. To collaborate with international networks.
10. To work on the creation of cultural model and be concerned with the Sudanese culture.
11. To encourage human rights ,peace and democracy .
