Solutions Across Borders is established to build a living, working and mutually beneficial relationship between the Baruch College community and the institutions and organizations which offer solutions to cross-border dilemmas, so as to equip Baruch students with tools necessary to succeed in and to create change in an interconnected world.

The purpose of the organization is tri-fold:

1. To increase awareness among the Baruch community about tangible solutions for the challenges of the globalization age - such as the changing role of the media, difficulties in market integration, climate change, disease epidemics and...

The purpose of the organization is tri-fold:

1. To increase awareness among the Baruch community about tangible solutions for the challenges of the globalization age - such as the changing role of the media, difficulties in market integration, climate change, disease epidemics and human rights violations - by offering an outlet for students to voice their concerns and build relationships with leaders and experts within international, interregional, and community-specific fields.

2. To offer to students opportunities to proactively participate in developing solutions to cross-border challenges, through activism, volunteerism and awareness building.

3. To establish relationships between our College and organizations, including inter-governmental agencies, NGOs, foundations, and private firms, as well as individuals, who aim to benefit those who are left behind or hurt as a result of globalization phenomena.
