SOYVO exists to contribute positively to the society and engage in activities that cater to the needs of Somaliland youth, and to promote positive behavior change amongst the youth through advocacy empowerment, partnership and recourse/mobilization for the eradication of HIV/AIDS and luck of human right in Somaliland

We work to provides training for democracy and leadership opportunities for young people. We strive to inspire and connect new generations of conscious and committed leaders, encouraging and honoring moral or heroic conduct among youths, and developing young people's skills, capacities and confidence. We encourage young people to share their knowledge and leadership skills with others,
We produce News letter for learning the value of Democracy principle, and youth participation. Also SOYVO provides Democracy and Human rights training for young leaders who are leaders of various youth organizations, Universities, Political parties
We organize the annual Somaliland Development Youth Forum which brings together young leaders from all over Somaliland Regions to build their capacity to contribute to the fight against AIDS, promote and increase Youth Participation and other development issues in Somaliland

Leadership development - Counseling youth on how to start and manage youth groups.
We also facilitate capacity building workshops for the group leaders for leadership infrastructure development. The programme promotes best practice in management of youth organizations and carries out assessments to measure how best the organizations are delivering.
Sport and arts - Promoting sport and the arts for young people as a vehicle of social and economic regeneration. The programme includes citizenship and leadership development through sport.
Information and communication technologies training - Advocating for greater access to ICTs by young people and training for ICTs literacy and proficiency
Youth Citizen, democracy and governance - Promoting young people participation in public affairs and governance and youth taking leadership roles.
Young women - Promoting young women taking key positions and responsibilities in youth groups and creating an enabling environment for them to prosper.
We provide Young women in four district of Togdheer region literacy and Numeracy the aim of this programme is to improve their livelihood of young women
HIV-AIDS - Designing and advocating for youth-led and youth friendly interventions to HIV-AIDS.
Voluntary service - Organizing volunteering opportunities and events for young people in their communities. Exchanges Study visits provide opportunities for new experiences and partnership. In this view, we plan study visits both locally and internationally whereby youth will seize the chance of working laterally with their peers locally and globally. This forum will offer cross-fertilization of ideas and exchange of experiences with follow-up commitments and also provide linkages between Somaliland Youth groups and those abroad.
