The Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research has been organizing free medical camps on a quarterly basis in areas where permanent health facilities are non-existent. Such camps have been organized in rural areas of District Khanewal. These camps not only provide curative and preventive health services, but also create awareness on health issues through advocacy and communication strategies. In 2008, the Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research organized free medical camps in the villages of Union Council 24 (171/10-R). The tremendous support rural communities was shown, when they asked that such kind medical camps should be continued in future. Our mission is to ensure a continual of these ideas, keeping our goals and vision in mind.

Aghaz Public School
Education sector not only affects the economic but also the social aspect of any country. So we cannot ignore the importance of the education. Today is the world of technology but if any country is not able to meet the basic education, which is called primary education, how this country will achieve the goals of today’s world. Pakistan is basically an agriculture-based country and 70% of its population belongs to villages. The rate of education in these rural areas is extremely low. The people of these areas have no facilities of schools and colleges or universities.
Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research has a non-trading concern, and working in these types of rural areas. We have started a project, network of primary level schools named as “Aghaz Public School” in the tehsil Khanewal. The selected area has no facilities of education. People of this area have no aims in their lives because of ignorance. Almost 95%population of this area depends upon agriculture sector but due to lack of information about new techniques and technology, their production level is low. So we have focused this area and started a school in this area for boys and girls. We have focused the education for women because they are not able to go to cities to complete their education. Also the literacy rate of women is extremely low. So regarding to these upstate problems we have started a school on 14 August 2002. This school is providing quality education since then at very low cost. Qualified staff has been selected for this purpose and they are utilizing their best qualities for bringing change in this area. We have achieved 100% results in 5th standards in the year 2008. There is no secondary school for boys or girls in this area. So we are doing our efforts to achieve our goals.

Celebration of Special Days
Society for Advancement of Health, Education & Research celebrated different national and international days, such Aghaz Public School. students performed different items on this event. Parents of students were also invited on this eve. They also participated actively in this program. Quiz program was also arranged, different questions were asked from students and parents and prizes were distributed among them.
