REP is a youth led gender sensitive organization fired by the desire to promote Woman rights and participation

Goals
To promote and facilitate the full implementation of CEDAW at all level otherwise called convention on the elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women.

To develop and build the capacity of women, willing to & capable of bringing about change in their lives and those of others in their communities.

History

RYLO EQUALITY PARTNERSHIP was born out of the concern to promote women right and more purposefully to shape their lives and that of the wider society. It answers a call that was made in 1979 “CONVENTION ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN” otherwise known as CEDAW. The call was termed royal youth leadership organization (RYLO), a mechanism which builds the capacities of youth to make informed decision that will help protect them and their peers.

A total of 36 male and female youths indicated interest in RYLO at the start. These youths came from different political affiliations, represented different ethnic groups and display other dissimilarities

The first meeting of the group explore her direction was held in December 2005 at kaliabiama bonny local government area of rivers state in Nigeria. It led to persistence with a concept which was realized with the lunching of RYLO EQUALITY PARTNERSHIP in 2007.

its a youth led organization, that makes it all youth affairs, decisions making, planning and implementation are youth led, The emerging youth has reinforced and built on the foundation of service in traditional organizations and focuses on tapping youth talent and energy. Service programs today increasingly include training, education, prevention, and employment components. In addition, participating "at-risk" youth sense the value of the work and increase their self-esteem.
