IAVE Russian VC (Moscow Charity House Volunteer Centre) is Volunteering Development and Support Centre in Russia. Working in cooperation with leaders of global volunteer movements such as, International Association of Volunteer Efforts (IAVE), UNV, Global Youth Action Network, the Center works in collaboration with Russian volunteer centers, NGOs, government, commercial organizations and media for promoting the formation and realization of the state policy of acknowledgement and support of volunteering in Russia; facilitating of the community volunteer centers creating and national volunteer centers network development; integration of Russian volunteer movement in the global network initiatives and actions.
Major activities: consulting, training, research, publications, meetings, conference, initiation and coordination of annual national volunteer events (Global Youth Service Day in Russia and the Russia Spring National Volunteer Week; Celebrating of International Volunteer Day and Decade of volunteers (1-10 December).
