"Today is your foundation for tomorrow" is the phrase that leads us to working diligently in our community. Our vision is to reach and teach youth about the importance of getting an education, and in turn the importance of believing in themselves. Redemption wants to benefit more youth across a larger geographical area, stepping out side of our community gates, and increasing the number of inner city youth enrolling in universities across the United States. The Redemption team will use the knowledge, experience and network we have gained to guide families through the college process and to provide our community with information that will aid them through their journey towards success.

Providing thematic workshops about the importance of getting an education, and in turn the importance of believing in themselves. In addition, we give out our twelve page pamphlet that explains what needs to be done in order to make it to college and successfully complete college as well. In a year and a half we have served approximately 450 young people, and our website (www.redemptioninc.org) gets over a hundred hits per week.
By conducting more workshops, giving out our contact sheets, and continuing to outreach to other youth groups, we know that in the long-run Redemption will benefit more youth across a larger geographical area, stepping out side of our community gates.
