AIDS is real its in our Church as the research done by Precision Youth League shows the weight of human suffering due to AIDS in Africa mainly youth is daily increasing however the most of the Christian leader pretend like in the church things are okay. Most of us realize by now that AIDS is real - we probably know people who have been affected by it, may be someone close to us. But AIDS is in the Church – is it possible? In some countries the answer is already obvious as you have watched the brothers in our Churches sicken and die while claiming to have been bewitched. Else where the plague has not reached such a height often we are not knee to admit that it is in the Church. Often we think that the Church should not become dirtied or spoiled by involving our selves with those with AIDS. We see them as sinners paying for their sins. Meanwhile stalks our continent. Its killing our young people yet a thick wall of silence surrounds the killer.
A proverb says “the best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago (20). The next best time is now” Likewise many years ago was the best time for all Christians in Africa to be addressing the issue of AIDS.
Many youth in Africa communities are dying without God and without hope. However the next best time to become involved is now.
The fire of AIDS raging all around the world gives the Christians and the Church a unique opportunity to minister in Christ’s name it’s a chance for us all to teach those all around us how vital God’s truth is for their lives. It’s also a wonderful chance for us to demonstrate the love of Christ to the many that are in darkness and without any earthly hope. God’s grace riches to them. We must be the hands of Christ demonstrating that grace.
When we are serving suffering people, we are serving Him.
We pray that Precision Youth League will be a guiding candle in many youth lives to help the equip them to face the tragedy of AIDS and to respond in a Godly way. By God’s grace and with the zeal and compassion of Christ, so that change the course of AIDS in Africa and bring many people to place hope firmly in our savoir who died for sinners like us.

Voluntary Counseling and Testing
•
Sustainable, quality, youth friendly voluntary counseling & testing services (VCT):
Nearly two decades ago, Uganda made a historical landmark to recognize that HIV/AIDS was a major threat to public health and national development. Innovative programs for the prevention and control of STDs /HIV/AIDS have been running ever since and consequently. Uganda is witnessing consistent declining trends and or a stabilization of HIV prevalence rates assessed by sentinel surveillance of urban sites and rural communities in Uganda.
Voluntary testing and counseling (VCT) is a powerful tool for behavior change with respect to HIV/AIDS prevention. VCT enables individuals to know their HIV status, which serves as a gateway for HIV prevention and for early access to treatment, care and support. Since 2006 PYL started a youth targeted VCT center at its hosting Church headquarters, which is targeting to access VCT service to over 220,000 young marginalized people. This year we have a plan of introducing a mobile VCT services which will be offered as well as ongoing static clinic services to enable young people in and out of school have access to VCT we just believe God for the funders/donors for this project to kick off. Under this program we shall also provide other services such as testing and treatment of syphilis and STDs Management, Family Planning and other related services including the treatment of TB.
• Post Test Club:
PYL Post-test clubs provide emotional support, including helping the client to cope with stress and plan for the future. Assessment of risks and planning for risk reduction, including the development of a decision making capacity about options for prevention. The post test clubs supports clients to consider behavioural change as a means of preventing HIV infection or re-infection and realise the dangers of having unprotected sex that could bring the risk.
Community HIV/AIDS Control Project
