NPower NY is a nationally-recognized nonprofit technology assistance provider with a mission to help nonprofits accomplish their missions and expand and enhance their impact in the community. NPower NY offers a range of technology consulting and training services as well as membership benefits – such as free tech talks, specialized workshops, conferences, and volunteer assistance. NPower NY’s Technology Service Corps (TSC) program is a core component of our service model. The Technology Service Corps trains New York City 18 – 25 year olds on a set of technology and professional skills and then works with nonprofits to place graduates in organizations as junior information technologists. The program aims to provide technology-focused training to help out-of-school and underserved youth achieve economic independence; while directly providing a critically-needed IT labor force for local nonprofits.
