The Network for Adolescents and Youth of Africa (NAYA) Kenya chapter is one of the continuing advocacy programmes implemented in Benin, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and Sudan since the year 2002 with support from PPFA-I.
The network’s goal is to contribute towards the creation of an enabling policy environment that fosters adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (ASRH&R).
NAYA aims at enhancing the capacity of youth advocates to undertake ASRH&R advocacy through enlisting the support of policy makers, opinion leaders, religious leaders and faith-based organizations in advocating for reforms and implementation of national policies and legislation to improve the quality and availability of ASRH information and services.

Project Achievements
• 2007 participated in the organizing committee for World Young Women Christian Association youth event on Youth, Sex and HIV
• March 2007-Held one day football/community extravaganza to lobby for support for the implementation of ARH&D policy
• 2005/2006-Advocated for the inclusion of a budget for the implementation of reproductive health along side other stakeholders
• 2005/2006-participated in the organizing committee for Africa Sexuality Conference on Sexuality, Sexual health and Rights and Development in Africa
• 2002/2003- participated in drafting of Adolescent Reproductive health and Development policy
• Formed 20 peer clubs in Nairobi and Nyanza to heighten advocacy for the implementation ARH&D policy
• Synergizing over 20 Non-Governmental Organisations, Community Based Organisations and Faith Based Organisations
• Held advocacy meetings with 8 electronic media houses, ministry of health officials, and provincial administration representatives to sensitize them on the NAYA advocacy agenda and the need for their support
