In the attempt of NOYED-Ghana to foster the development of Value Added Youth and the Vulnerable, the vision of NOYED-Ghana is stated as "Improved quality of life of the youth and the vulnerable-women and children in society, in partnership with other related stakeholders for sustainable development". The mission, is also stated as “Fostering networking as forces for cost effective intervention through the implementation of sustainable programmes”.It is important to note that NOYED-Ghana is not a network of organisations but it believes in the idea and principles of networking. To this effect, NOYED-Ghana is linking up as much as possible with other like minded organisations and joining networks for idea sharing and assistance to ensure synergy, bigger impact and to avoid duplication and .

NOYED provides a wide range of continuing support services to less privileged and deprived communities in the form of long term and short term, on-site technical assistance, periodic programme reviews and evaluation; independent programmes, inter-programme training workshops, regional and international conferences, resource development and a wide variety of backstopping services.
Through these interventions, the following objectives are targeted.
•To ensure access and enhance quality education for all children especially those in the three northern regions.
•Improve the socio-economic status of women through income generating activities.
•To promote equity, good governance and leadership of women.
•To improve health of especially women and children in the society.
•Sensitise the general public on the menace of HIV/AIDS, other Sexually Transmitted Diseases and other out breaks.
•Advocate and propagate the message of human rights.
•Facilitate education and advocacy on peace.
