GOALS

GOALS
· By 2012, NYF will be nationally recognised as the leading youth forum advocating for human rights, the continuing of peace and reconciliation and the establishment of a society free from discrimination.
· By 2017, NYF will have measured regular contact with 2-2.5 Million youths in Nepal .
· By 2017, NYF will have active programmes in every district of Nepal, focused on radio, tv and media, workshops and youth centred events.
· By 2017, NYF will have contributed to a 50% decrease in reported human rights violations.
· By 2032, every member of Nepal's society will be aware of his or her human rights, be able to claim those rights and unquestionable respect the rights of others.

OBJECTIVES

· Establish central office infrastructure and organisational effectiveness systems and processes in Kathmandu
· Establish a partnership with a mature, specialist, radio programming organisation.
· Establish two weekly radio programmes broadcast throughout the Kathmandu valley and focused on (1) youth and (2) social discrimination.
· Complete a youth mobilisation event to promote CA awareness.
2008
· Establish a youth exchange programme in Nepal , exchanging skills between Kathmandu and districts.
· Establish a partnership with a mature, specialist, television programming organisation.
· Increase radio programme coverage to >20 districts
· Establish offices in ach region hub.

· Increase radio programme coverage to >40 districts
· Establish community FM radio broadcasting licenses.
