NYAN supports the tenet that “with every right comes a responsibility” - this is why we believe that youth in this country can provide a positive contribution to the well-being of everyone and build a society where one’s heritage is a source of pride and inspiration.
NYAN is a youth advocacy network and clearing house on anti-racism and discrimination issues, built on effective and active partnerships with local, regional, provincial, national and international organizations, governments, private sector actors, individuals and communities to support and encourage processes of critical youth engagement and leadership.
