The Bambelela Gospel Ministries are a group of young people that came together to make a positive in the communities that we are working in who are Manenberg, heideveld and Gugulethu.

We do this by talking to young people about the dangerous in our society, the dangers of HIV/AID, DRUGS and other social ills that we have.

We also do Music and Singing at different types of Charity event, social events and other government gathering. We also train community youth in playing musical instrument and voice training to unlease their talent that they are sitting with.
There are also other type of activities and gathering that we organise such as ebating session between the areas that we are working with.

The Manenberg People's Centre is a Non Governmental Organisation working in the Manenberg Community, seeing to the needs of our people more in particularly our young people through the provision of social and economical development.

We do this by giving them the necessary skills that they might acquire to go into the job market and to make them more employable. This we do by means of running different skills development projects which are as follows.

1. Hair and Beauty Project.
We train 30 young girls from the community in Hairdressing skills and Nail technology. It is a 4 month course that runs twice a year. Each participant get a ceryificate at the end of the course.

2. Lifeskills Course
This are being done on schools and to the wider public and specific the young people. It covers Selfesteem, Goal Setting, Public Speaking, Conflict Resolution, Job Hunting Skills, CV Writting, Interview preparation and many more topics that will enhance their employability. Each participant gets a certificate after the course

3. Computer Training Course
We also have a computer lab whereby we train youth of our community in basic computer skills. This covers, Word procdessing, power point, internet and e-mail and more. They do get certification after the course as well.

4. Arts, Culture and Craft
We also run a arts, culture and craft program whereby we do dance and music tuition with young people. We do craft as well.

5. Cleaning Greening and Vegetable Garden Project:
We got this project where young people from our community go out and cleaning and planting to beautify our community. They are also being trained on how to start their own gardens in our community garden that we have as an organisation.
