Lively Minds is a non-political and non-religious NGO currently working in Northern Ghana and Uganda. We set up community-run play centres for pre-school children. The centres provide acitivies and resources that help children learn through play and promote good hygiene and sanitation. The centres are run by volunteers from the commnities. We train and support the volunteers so that they become empowered and skilled members of their communities.
