LEND A HAND SOCIETY, a Youth NGO, is committed to raising the level of awareness of young people on the realities of life and motivate them to act or respond accordingly by: -
· Mobilising resources to capacitise young leaders in the making through sponsorship and capacity building activities;
· Helping young people improve and develop their attitudes towards the environment, their personal development with regards to self esteem, confidence, tolerance, self-reliance, time-consciousness, respect for authority, adults and others, as well as respect for cultural norms and values.
· Assisting young people become self-initiative as well as develop a high sense of dialogue between them and their parents/ adults/ authority on matters affecting them.
Our vision is:
Holistically built young women and men into well informed, motivated, charismatic, confident, tolerant, exemplary, focused, dutiful, self-reliant and concerned citizens for the ultimate purpose of nation building, based on the appreciation of norms and values of society and the understanding of the synergy achieved by team work.

1.Sponsoring of needy students;·
Advocacy/Awareness creation programmes on the environment, development and population issues (through Symposia, Talks on career & youth issues, Panel Discussions, Public Lectures, Newspaper coverage, production of brochures, Weekly Radio Programmes & Monthly TV appearances, Radio & TV Quiz, Research and Presentation);
2.Workshops (on Public Speaking, Leadership, LAHS concepts and principles, Report writing, counseling & Training of Trainers);
3. Fundraising (concerts, charity buffets, sports, proposal writing & marketing, other small sales);
4. Summer schools, computer classes and extra remedial classes for young people ( includes Academic and Extra Curricula Activities & Excursions);
5. Networking in & out of the country and making new friends through the Internet.
