Jenin Creative Cultural Centre is A non governmental association , established in 2005 by a group of Jenin youth, for the purpose of providing cultural and educational services for the local Palestinian society in general , and the youth sector in particular in Jenin area.
OUR Vision : A peaceful , just & equitable world
OUR Mission : Jenin Creative and Cultural Centre aims to promote an active leadership role for youth within their community and provide them with the opportunity to develop extracurricular skills to fill their lives with constructive and meaningful activities .
Targeted Group :
Youth male and female from the age of 6- 25
OUR Goals :
1- To foster education for peace
2- To promote the values of tolerance, culture of peace , reconciliation , non-violence and democracy .
3- To empower women in society .
4 – International Youth exchange
5- To encourage dialogue between cultures , which will contribute to strengthening peace and democracy
6 –To develop and strengthen the competence of youth ( skills , knowledge , practices and attitudes )
7- To promote volunteer work , community services and environmental awareness .
8- To provide access to educational and professional training and social support facilities at a community level
Previous Activities of the CENTRE
1. Promoting and facilitating educational seminars on Human Rights .
2. Promoting and facilitating seminars on Palestinian Refugee Affairs.
3. Participating in Summer Camps organized by the Arab American School and Jenin Camp.
4. Creating and participating in local and national concerts.
5. In coordination with an Italian Group, the association provided aid for some needy children and infants in the area.
6. Providing art workshops for children in Jenin area, independently and in association with international organizations .
7. Creating and promoting international art exhibitions by children in Sweden, Italy, Scotland, USA and Canada.
8. Providing help for farmers at the olive gathering season and hosting International Volunteers in this project.
