ISAFIS is an organization comprising students from universities in Jakarta whose main concerns are international relations issues. The organization was established in 1984 and is listed in the United Nations as one of the world’s non-governmental organizations organizing International Week under the auspices of IWCO. ISAFIS’ main activities comprise discussions, seminars, diplomacy training, and International Week in cooperation with the government, embassies, private institutions, and foreign university students. In 1987 we received the Peace Messenger Award from the then UN Secretary General, Javier Perez Cuellar.
