Vision: A prepared future life for an African child

MISSION
Our mission to the world is to encourage young people deliver voluntary work. This fact must be impressed upon the minds of our children and youth. It must be woven into the very fibre of their being. The teaching in schools must all be designed to impress the minds of our children and young people that their mission as individuals must be the mission of the whole people to give voluntary service to all the world. If this is done when they are young the impression will never leave them. When they come to the years of responsibility and are called to decide their life services. They will surely be influenced by this great fact.

OUR FIELD

The field is the world. It is to the world that we are to give the voluntary service in our day. This means that we must go to all the world continents and divisions. We must navigate all the great rivers and lakes of all countries, We must work our way into the heart of all countries. We must learn the language of the people, That’ is our mission to the world.

Hope Children Uganda
is a Voluntary community service youth organisation founded in Uganda to protect, guide and provide Development services to young people, meet their needs and interests, develop the community through Voluntary work, International Youth exchange, International understanding, Idea sharing as a mean of promoting social development.
Hope Children Uganda gives freedom to young volunteers to think and opportunities to develop themselves Physically, Mentally, Culturally and Spiritually.

Hope Children works in close collaboration with other organisation to improve and support the development of local community projects, cross clutures and international understanding in Uganda. For example UNASO, UVP,southafrican Red Cross, malaikaorphanage south africa., World Wide Volunteering UK, , KVDA, TAYEN, EWANET, Africa Alive, Straight Talk, mentor volunteers uganda, and many others.

Location Hope Children Uganda is located in Nakaseke district, 25 kilometers from the capital Kampala, in Kimwanyi community. Although we started as a small home, we now provide support to children from all backgrounds and religions. Currently the 210 children . we support 70 on our center and others stay in foster homes .Most of these children are all HIV/AIDS orphans. Our aim is to expand support for additional orphans throughout the community. We may not be able to help all, but we certainly can make a difference in these children's lives and invite you to help us.



Our role is to build the capacity of young people by encouraging and involving them in decision making, participate in activities that develop the community, Express their views, share information, experience, challenges, and to put a bridge between adults and young by organizing volunteer projects and open discussion togethe hope children brings young people together as a family with no differences. Hope children staff members must ever be seeking opportunities to do good, create and stimulate awareness of people in distress and to educate them .In this way, by the Grace of God truly men open doors to hearts enlist interests of indifferent ones and finally leads others to know God

2 .HOPE FOR YOUTH CLUB

HOPE FOR YOUTH is a club that promotes hope children Goals in schools and youth groups. The hope for children club has program targeting young men to promote positive non violent images of masculinity and program targeting young girls to manage violence and to promote self-esteem. It also helps parents/ guardians to talk to children about their performance in school, being safe in school and preventing or reporting cases of defilement.

The programs are designed to put a bridge between teachers and students by organising open discussion together

The club also organizes children workshop/conference on the role of student in UPE, Volunteering, Health education, peace education, Human right and development.

The program is designed to provide health services in school e.g. training on PIASCY and life skills, peer education guidance and counseling, promotion of girls’ retention and completion. (Sanitary materials, separate latrine for girls with washing facilities and protection from abuse) Hygiene (hand washing promotion, safe drinking water promotion, water source and latrine construction, latrine cleanness, school suppliers e.g. soap and others)

The department provides technical support and guidance to teachers association, and to promote hope for youth activities .

The club exists to promote student peer clubs, youth groups, and music dance and drama activities for school children promoting physical condition and hygiene.


The Hope for youth club is responsible to establish links and partnership between sanitary producers and schools to provide materials to schools

This department empowers young people to access information and services, including counseling and guidance and to provide super vision to families and country members to support Youth friendly services to improve knowledge, attitude and communication skills

The department is concerned to support parents, teachers school management committees,peer groups, youth groups to implement life skill and peer education activities

This Department is designed for young people from 10-18 years, including Students, Children, youth in and out of School.

Young people join this club because its program features activities that help young people meet their needs and interests. Much of their program is built around physical action. This means that young people from10-18 years are in first growing stage of Development. This stage is filled with action, adventures, challenges, group activities and personal growth or the Development of new attitudes towards growth.

The youth department exists primarily for youth to put abridge between parents and youth through active involvement with the club and its members as old work and play together in a bond of common experience.

Youth friendly services
Sports Music, Dance drama and cultural Development
International youth exchange
Adolescent reproductive Health (school health education PIACSY)
Students Association and retreats
Student Volunteering and Promote peace education
Skills Development/education
Skills development / education help to understand and explain our community and to lay scientific ground on which to base our society structures.

Today millions of children are unable to go to school and are being denied their best chance to escape poverty, it’s hard to change their life when they do not know how to read or write.

HOPE FOR YOUTH CLUB looks forward to seek bursaries, sponsorship, or any support to make education for every child a reality
