Our main purpose by launching this website is to provide easy access to comprehensive HIV/AIDS information on the Internet. Without doubt there is need for this. The number of HIV positive men and women in Bulgaria has been increasing and every year a new cases of HIV are identified. Behind each individual there are several other people, friends and relatives.
The web will be updated regularly with both new topics and fresh informtion on the disease aimed at educating HIV positve people as well as everybody who want to know more about the subject. Among other things, we intend to allow the general public, whether HIV positive or not, to send their queries to us. Anybody who is diagnosed with HIV, as well as his/her family, are bound to have a lot of questions. These questions will be answered here.

Aims of the organization:
1. To inform society through the Internet through educational information about HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) and for this reason we have designed a web-site contains 186 pages which can be easily accessed by anyone who needs the relevant information.
2. Active participation in ANTI-AIDS campaigns with the purpose of informing about the growing danger of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and expressing tolerance towards those stricken by HIV/AIDS.
3. HIV/AIDS info Balkan encourages and supports activities of government and non-government organizations fighting HIV/AIDS.
4. To publish materials (brochures and videos) related to HIV/AIDS and STDs.
5. HIV/AIDS info Balkan opposes any kind of discrimination on the basis of color, religion, sexual orientation or social status. The organization regularly participates in the appeals of human rights organizations.
6. To seek and create conditions for improving the lifestyle and social status of HIV/AIDS positive people in Bulgaria.
a) To coordinate anti-AIDS events, conferences, seminars, etc.
b) To disseminate information about the danger of STDs in clubs offering sexual services.
c) To disseminate information about HIV/AIDS through: Post offices, Newspaper stands, Media, Hospitals, Laboratories, Hotels, Schools, Universities, Airports, Tourist services, Embassies.
d) Close cooperation with HIV/AIDS government and non-government organizations, pharmaceutical companies.
e) Organization of holidays with the members of the organizations in places with mineral waters, mountain resorts, etc.
7. The main aim of HIV/AIDS info Balkan is to create a center for HIV-positive people where they will be able to share and solve their everyday needs and problems:
a) to provide them with a rehabilitations,
b) Internet communication
c) food, clothes, non-alcoholic drinks.
d) library, video, conference room, conditions for sport and participation in different events.
