GLOWA is a non-governmental organization dedicated to upholding the rights of children in Cameroon through education and training.
We are actively combating the detrimental problem of child trafficking and exploitation plaguing the North West Region of Cameroon where we are very present and rendering it a veritable risky area for children with limited parental care such as orphans. Our orphan care and support project seeks to empower children likely to be trafficked with the skills needed to stay safe.
Our strategy in principally participatory in which the direct beneficiaries play a central role in the endeavours.
GLOWA also has a family life program to build the capacities of parents in positive parenting and responsible parenthood.
We provide a life skills development program to youths through our reach activities and interactions with local and national role models for responsible behaviours. GLOWA also lobbies, advocates and raises awareness for improved policies, both nationally and internationally.
