The GenSan Teen Group envisions to provide quality services on Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health to young people of Region 12, particularly in General Santos City.

GenSan Teen Group (GTG) was formally established on December 14, 2002. It aims to provide a venue to strengthen and increase the awareness of young people on issues and concerns regarding Adolescnet Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.

GTG is composed of youth volunteers (in-school and out-school youth), from five coastal barangays (small unit of government in the Philippines) and in South Cotabato. it is initially set to focus therein in conducting series of activites, such as seminar workshops, focus group discussions (FGD), exhibits, fora and symposia to the youth to provide them deeper understanding and vivid view on Reproductive Health/ Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.

With the establishments of GenSan Teen Group as a youth core group in General Santos City, youth from differnt schools or out of school youth are able to visits the youth center to ask us or undergo counseling becasue we have trained peer counselors also to cater the needs of the youth with emphasis on the consideration of confidentiality.

Our youth members were able to undergo trainings (e.g. basic peer counseling, leadership trainings, Life skills training, Participatory Reproductive Health Workshops, Technology of Particpation, etc).

We value much on volunteerism and we are proud that though we don't receive money from being a volunteer, we still value the vision, mission, and the goal of the organization.
