With the objectives as follows:

2. to promote the culture of human rights and civic responsibility among its members and beyond,
3. to provide leadership and skills training to the youth; and
4. to promote the general welfare of the youth.

What does the organization do?
1. Heath services: FYC is monitoring the implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) by ensuring that children under age 5 and over 70 years benefit from the free package and people are being educated to register with the scheme.

1. Heath services: FYC is monitoring the implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) by ensuring that children under age 5 and over 70 years benefit from the free package and people are being educated to register with the scheme.
2. Environment and Sanitation: FYC is involve in clean-up campaigns and monitoring the service provides by ensuring that waste are collected regularly, drains constructed and bridges are upgraded.
3. Sports development: FYC organises annual football competition for the youth, this has resulted in some youth taken football as their carrier.
4. Security: Consultations with the security agencies is being done regularly so as to secure the community members and business establishment to promote economic activities with local communities.
5. Electricity services: Through partnership discussions with the Management of the Electricity Company of Ghana-Accra East Office, the company has instituted a regular consultative forum to meet their customers and discuss power services.
6. Governance: FYC is fully active in decision making at the local government level, Members of Parliament and Elected Assembly members partner with FYC to initiate community project. FYC is presently supporting some Assembly members by calling on the government to construct Library, school buildings and youth training centres.
7. Newsletter: The Mouthpiece is a monthly community development newsletter being published by FYC for deprived communities in Ghana. It is also being used to express the voice of the vulnerably, advocate for developmental projects and the expressing of youthfulness.
8. Youth Development: FYC is providing an opportunity for students from the tertiary institution to work at it secretariat and on-project to gain working experience as being demanded by companies and institutions. FYC is carrying out an outreach project in the schools urging the pupils and students not to drop out of school. Parents are being called upon to take advantage of the National Capitation Grant and school feeding programme to send their children to school. Those not in school are being urged to learn trade or go to vocational school.
