The group will set the vision soon. My interum vision may look like this: "The Province of Saskatchewan is fully engaging to all young people, through civic participation, community and volunteer participation, workplace and occupation participation. The opinions of young people are respected and called-upon to develop policy and implement both local grassroots initiatives, as well as province-wide programs and initiatives. Young people are leading change through self-directed networks and are building reputations and skills that will establish them as the current influencers in the province, as well as the future leaders."

Hopefully, recommendations will serve other groups.individuals because, as we all know, the government cannot solve all our problems.

Email dallas.gislason@gov.sk.ca to self-nominate before Dec. 12th, 2008. Our long-term goals include the development of a Youth Retention and Attraction Strategy to help bring more young people to the province--as part of this we seek to build inclusive workplaces and communities throughout the province (set the foundation first!)
