Democracywatch is a development and educational institution working to promote and strengthen democracy and good governance by creating awareness about rights and values through research, training for leadership, advocacy and mobilization of media to fight against injustice and human rights violation. We provide different kinds of training specially to the youths to build up their career and leadership quality.

What does the organization do?
Democracywatch is an independent, not-profit, non-partisan organization which has started working to promote democratic culture and values at all levels from 1995 in Bangladesh.
Opportunities for Youth
Lifeskills Training Program, Youth Leadership Program, Internship Opportunities, Event Management, Active Citizenship Campaigns, Encouraging political participations at community level.

We, Democracywatch with other women community and human rights organizations of the country are continuing our protest against the proposed amendments to the constitution raising the number of reserved seats for women in the National Parliament. We are demanding incorporation of a provision in the amendment for direct election to the reserved seats for women through organizing different action programs
