Corruption Alert Uganda was formed in January 2008, initiated by Ian Rumanyika Muhimbise with a dream of seeing a corruption free society. With this objective various associations have been started up in different University chapters in Uganda led by students, we do workshops, community outraech progarammes, debates with corruption topics and conferences. The organisation's main aimis to create awareness about corruption. The initiator stresses that, like any other disease for example AIDS has been given attention, corruption should be given attentions as well.
