As a national non-governmental youth-led organization motivated by volunteerism to pursue justice and human rights; COYPED is dedicated to alleviating poverty, hunger and disease among the people of the fifteen (15) sub-political divisions of Liberia regardless of tribe or religion.

Consolidated Youth for Peace and Development (COYPED) is a registered non-governmental youth-led organization established in 2008, COYPED seeks to empower young people to contribute positively to society by working together with a shared sense of purpose and responsibility on matters relatives to health, education, human rights, civic education, anti-corruption and developmental issues regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, geographical location, political or religious affiliations.
To implement community developmental projects (construct/renovate hand pumps, Latrines and schools;
To lobby for the realistic inclusion of youth in policy formulating and their subsequent participation
To promote principles of integrity, democracy, gender equality and tolerance among youth
To initiate youth development projects and activities with the aim of encouraging the active participation of youth in the process of their own empowerment
To initiate and facilitate workshops and forums on civic education for citizens especially young people across Liberia;
To advocate for the advancement of democracy, human rights, good governance and promotion of youth agendas
To solicit scholarship for deserving students and skills training through apprenticeship for out-of-school youths;
To provide awareness and sensitization on HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis prevention;
To engage into small scale livestock and agriculture projects.
To establish youth resource tele-centre (internet access and training centre) and libraries throughout Liberia.
To contribute to the success of the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by mobilizing communities and creating awareness and sensitization.

COYPED Provide temporary employment for its members and all young people during projects and or programs implementation.
Provide the environment for cordial interaction between youths through knowledge sharing, lectures and intellectual symposium .
Create the opportunity where youth participate in national development policies. help solicit capacity building programs that enable young people to build to capacity.youth have opportunity to learn from their friends, we also help war affected youths in reintegrating into the society. youth are always engage into development, and peace related matters. help youth solicit apprenticeship for marginalized and war affected youth. youth are educated to sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), stop prostitution, and drug abuse. ............................
