COJESKI-RDC known as « Collectif des Organisations des Jeunes Solidaires du Congo-Kinshasa » is a platform of 340 young people’s organisations working on national scale in DRC and has branches abroad in different countries. It is operational in Democratic Republic of Congo since the year 1995.
So many partners have met with COJESKI-RDC, the largest operational network of Congolese youth organisations. This spotlight non-profit organisation have found itself through from the very last days of the three-decade dictatorial regime of late President MUBUTU, passing by a decade of war and armed conflicts, until this actual transitional government leading to 2006 elections.
The major concern of this organisation is the youth. The human resources at work in COJESKI-RDC plans and activities are the youth individuals. There is a particular stress on gender so as to encourage young ladies to participate in everyday life and community development.
Significantly from inception, COJESKI-RDC organises activities in different commissions operating as field departments:
• Socio-cultural Program ;
• Human Rights defence, protection and promotion Program ;
• Socio-economic and community development Program ;
• Gender and lady promotion Program ;
• Health and Ethics Program; and
• Judiciary Assistance Program.
For reminder, COJESKI-RDC has been labouring in these fields and is accepted as such in the big family of NGOs of the United Nations (UN) as being in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), of NGOs of the African Union (AU) with consideration of its Status of Observer with the African Commission of Human and Peoples Rights. Hence, the Platform is in partnership with a number of NGOs related to the United Nations and to the African Union. Locally, COJESKI-RDC branches with NGOs sisters and works in direct partnership and in synergy with them.
COJESKI-RDC has not yet reached the climax of its vision for the Congolese youth nor has the institution been satisfied with the outstanding state of things in some indispensable areas of life in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Deeply concerned with varying and multiples problems undergone by the youth of the country, the platform still looks for means necessary for good, successful achievement in a world where the Millennium Development Goals are not achieved as consistently and as proportionally as possible.

COJESKI-RDC wishes to launch a lasting partnership with Global Youth Action Network in searching the youth welfare by providing them with conditions of easy access to employment and by helping them make their mankind potentiality at work so as to take profit of the human nature and the environment diversity. Surely, our country DRC embodies so many and varying opportunities either in terms of human resources or natural resources. With the end of war and the start of elected government, we think it bright and sustainable participation to launch partnership with EDC to help release the Congolese youth long forgotten in their unemployment.
