The Centre for Coordination of Youth Activities (CCYA) is a non-political, non-profit making organization. Established in September 1998, with the over-arching goals of serving as an agency working towards the empowerfment of youths through effective and efficient coordination of youth activities within Sierra Leone. The Centre also strives to enhance the capacity of youth groups and organizations through out the country at the same time to promote the rights of all young people.

Aims and Objectives:
• To provide the opportunity for a coordinated approach towards youth empowerment through building groups and youth services agencies
• Promote and defend Human Rights in Sierra Leone
• Create a database of youth groups and their activities for the purpose of advocacy, policy issues, intervention and recognition in society
• To report on donor funded activities
• To provide training in leadership, peace building, skills development, community development, reproductive and sexual health care and environmental issues
• Sensitize youths on topical national and international issues of relevance to youths
