“…To be a movement of people from different walks of life producing a holy culture by serving in various functions. Whether it be through the mediums of Art, Education, Theatre, Theological discourse, Dance, or the Spoken and Written Word, we seek to take the cities of this world by storm with a message of truth that will impact this generation and the generations to come.”

4. Mentoring
Mentoring is seen as a crucial part of a young persons development. It is a structured and trusting relationship that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee. The mentor is an adult, who, along with parents, provides a young person with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and constructive example. Mentors are good listeners, people who care, people who want to help young people bring out strengths that are already there. A mentor is not a foster parent, therapist, parole officer, or cool peer.
We seek to train volunteers who have a heart for young people and pair them up with a youth who will grow under the mentors care.
If during that time, tutoring can take place it becomes a double incentive for the mentee’s life.
It you have been looking for a place to volunteer that will definitely make a difference, click “contact us”, and one of our staff will be sure to reach immediately.
We currently need Mentors to work wit young people from the following Massachusetts locations:
Cambridge
Somerville
Malden
Medford
Roxbury
Lynn
