The Bulgarian Euro-Atlantic Youth Club (BEAYC) is a successor to the Atlantic Club Young Leaders Program, founded under the umbrella of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria. As a legal entity, BEAYC was officially set up in July 1996 and is the official youth branch of the Atlantic Club. BEAYC is a full member of the Atlantic Association of Young Political Leaders (AAYPL).
BEAYC is a voluntary, national and pluralistic youth organization that unites young people with different political, ethnic and cultural affiliation, political leaders, state and military officials.

The Club aims
• To promote the Euro-Atlantic values among the youth in Bulgaria by advising and supporting the youth organizations affiliated with different political parties, students’ communities, decision makers in the Bulgarian state institutions and the people at large.
• To foster Bulgaria’s involvement within the framework of the Euro-Atlantic political, economic and defense institutions and particularly NATO, the Western European Union (WEU), the European Union (EU), the Council of Europe (CE), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
The activities include organizing of visits and lectures by domestic and foreign experts and distinguished speakers, seminars and conferences on various topics, information and publication about the developments within NATO, EU and related international organizations (including information about scholarships, seminars and research opportunities), initiating important contacts with similar organizations abroad.
BEAYC has established numerous contacts with a lot of international non-governmental organizations. It also actively participates in all the conferences and meetings organized by AAYPL.
BEAYC was admitted as a full member of AAYPL at the end of June 1997 at the Biennial Meeting of AAYPL in Madrid. Meanwhile, the Secretary General of BEAYC was elected Vice-President of AAYPL, the first one from a non-NATO country and later was elected as the Secretary General of AAYPL.
Among the significant activities of BEAYC is the General Assembly of AAYPL that was held between June 26-30, 1999 in Sofia and Varna. For the first time it convened in a partner country. The forum was under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Mihailova.
The BEAYC organized an official visit to NATO HQ of a multipartisan delegation comprising 12 young MPs. The delegation had a meeting with NATO Secretary General The Hon Lord George Robertson, met NATO officials and visited Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE).
In the end of March 2000 a nine-member-delegation of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) had a two-week study-visit to Bulgaria. Delegates met a variety of politicians, parliamentarians, ministers, municipality representatives and businessmen. They had an opportunity to discus several uses on internal and foreign policy of Bulgaria with the President of the Republic Mr. Petar Stoyanov, with the Foreign Minister Mrs. Mihajlova and with the leaders of all Parliamentarian parties as well. It was an excellent chance for further development of the co-operation between the US and Bulgaria and served the purpose of better understanding and knowledge in the field of internal and foreign affairs.
In the Beginning of April the BEAC organized a two-day seminar on the Iraqi Conflict and the Role of Bulgaria in the New Security Model. Among the participants were representatives of parliamentary represented political parties, Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials, and journalists.
In the end of June 2003 (25 - 29 June) in Sofia took place the Biannual General Assembly of the AAYPL. It was organized by the BEAYC together with the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and under the honorary patronage of Dr. Solomon Passy, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. The decisions of the Prague Summit and the new realities after the war in Iraq were discussed during the Assembly and the role of the future generations for the security and mutual understanding in the Euro-Atlantic area will be underlined.

The Euroatlantic Education Initiative (EAEI) works for the establishment of educational programmes, organization of scientific forums, symposiums, discussions and seminars concerning Euroatlantic and European integration processes and perspectives. The priority goals of the organization are to foster specific knowledge about the European Union, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), as well as about the topics regarding the role of the Alliance in the process of establishment new security architecture within Europe. The Foundation supports the processes of acknowledgement and understanding of the political, legislative and diplomatic state actions and the practical national initiatives in the framework of the EU pre-accession strategy and enforcement of the obligations as full member of NATO. This represents the organization’s approach for successful creation of positive attitude towards the integration processes and for shaping knowledge-based opinion and understanding on the subjects discussed.
The professional team of the Foundation aims to establish an appropriate model for propagation of knowledge and preparation of expert qualified consultations for international organizations dealing with security issues and integration processes such as: UN, NATO, EU, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA), the Atlantic Association of Young Political Leaders.
The priority initiatives of the Foundation aiming at improvement of professional knowledge and high-level qualified information involve all civil society representatives. The high reputation of Euroatlantic Education Initiative, as well as the broad public and institutional support for the organized and scheduled activities are the most evident guarantee for successful and sustainable future development.
