The Ashland Youth/Leadership council is a local, grassroots, community-service organization focused on being present in these changing times through our walk and our talk.
The intent of the group is to meet regularly and to hold conversations about participating and relating in healthy/positive ways in society and learning how to help oneself and enable others to do the same. The council will form a powerful group of youth who will participate in other Ashland Events (sustainability, permaculture ,Native American, etc.) and give the youth a voice.

We provide learning opportunities for Youth in regards to Community, Health, Sustainability, Localization, and Leadership training. We are connected with the Red Earth Descendants in Ashland, an inter-tribal Native group. Through this partnership, we are able to give the Youth a chance to learn how to hold Talk Circle, how to work with Grants, play Traditional Native Games, learn about Technology, learn how to sing and speak publicly, as well as learn how to be spiritual and aware human beings.
