Established in January 1993 the ACPD as non-governmental and non-profiting organization recognizes and protects the individual right to reproductive health well being.
Women and young people have been two target groups in the focus of the ACPD activities; therefore training, seminars, awareness campaigns, and other services are offered in the several centers in order to reach them. All the ACPD program activities have been in high public demand, with classes and seminars filled to capacity.
Technical projects of ACPD based upon donors’ funds represent a range of activities that have in the basement a mutual particularity that is working in team. ACPD’s publications serve to a very wide public audience and health professionals as well. A big number of publications are published by ACPD for different target groups especially for young people and women. These publications are distributed in and out of the service centers. The “Reproductive health” Bulletin, supported by USAID/SEATS Program, which is a fruit of collaboration of ACPD and Ministry of Health, address the concerns of RH professionals and has been distributed in 37 districts.
