AFAES is the first organization for African migrants that has as its goal to employ African migrants and refugees and make their quality of life better by offering them education and helping them out. AFAES has its base and activities in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. AFAES acts as an umbrella association to different many African associations. Multiculturalism, open-mindedness, development projects and the possibility of employment are all integrated within the activities of AFAES. Also, informing African migrants of changes and new positive developments taking place in the southern province of Finland is a part of our association's program.

Our workshops include drumming, dancing and singing, African visual arts, African storytelling, and cooking.

We have children from different parts of the world. They come together for drumming, dancing and singing. You too are welcome to have fun with us.
