African Rights Initiative International seeks a world where every individual feels part of the larger development; having a form of dignity characterized by innovativeness and strength. Our prayer is that all humanity will come to understand the joy of living together with basic needs met. ARII does not seek “security” for people. Rather we seek the opportunity for all men; especially, women and children; to level the playing fields and to create a better platform for their development.

We share in the belief that “global prosperity and peace will only be achieved once the entire world’s people are empowered to order their own lives and provide for themselves and their families”. We work to people more responsible to become active citizens and to contribute meaningfully in national life

ARII is a non-profit, non-governmental African humanitarian network committed to promoting human dignity and sustainable livelihood in Africa and beyond by investing in people (first and foremost in Education, Health and Economic Development). We work in ensuring that all citizens, especially, women and children and people living in disadvantaged communities have access to equal protection under law and equal opportunity to develop and exercise the privileges of citizenship in order to participate fully and meaningfully in national life.

What We Do

Help a rural poor or street child get back to school or learn a trade
Provide support for women living in the most disadvantaged communities in Africa for sustainable livelihood
Provide financial aid, job training, rights awareness and leadership education.
Initiate and support community development projects for improved standard of living
Promote healthy lifestyle for improve productivity

ARII encourages local participation through dialogue and information sharing to promote mobilization of local resource; both human and natural, for the benefits of society and to ensure that everyone can take part in the issues that affect their lives

Educational opportunities and Resources -to help discover, direct, motivate and develop the abilities of children living in the most disadvantaged communities
Health Care Facilities for Primary Health Care and treatment of diseases such as TB, Malaria, and other Tropical Diseases
Expertise & Funding that empowers African’s most vulnerable groups and provide the tools and resources needed to increase their social functioning and self-sufficiency.
Additional Primary Needs, such as: Potable Water, Sanitation Facilities, Food, Clothing & Shelter
